Summer Reading Program registration opens up June 4th! We have exciting activities happening all summer and we want everyone to be involved. We have programs for adults, teens and children.
Our Kick Off Party for Summer Reading will be Saturday, June 16th at 10:30 am. Summer Reading Kick Off will feature Alabama Blues Project. Alabama Blues Project is a group of talented musicians who promote and preserve the Blues across the state. We are excited to have them kick off our summer reading. We will also have crafts in the meeting room to get things started.
We will be showing free afternoon movies on the Tuesday 19th and 26th at 3:30 pm. Call for title. 665-9207 x2.
We will have Cahaba River Society join us for Rivers Rock! on June 20th. Take note that there will be separate times for different age groups. June 20th at 1:00 pm will be K-2nd grade and 2:30 pm will be 3rd-5th graders.
We will have weekly crafts for kids on June 21st and 28th at 2:00 pm. Must be registered to attend. Call 665-9207 x2 to register.
We will be showing free morning movies on Friday June 22nd and 29th at 10:30 am. Call for title. 665-9207 x2.
On Saturday, June 23rd at 10:30 am, we will have Breathe Children Breathe. This will be a meditative story time with movement for kids. This will help in focus and stress. Calliope Pettis will lead this awesome program.
College counts will be here on June 30th at 10:30 am presenting a seminar for parents about options for paying for college. If you have a student, it’s never too early to start saving.
